JuJutsu Kaisen: Execution isn't exactly an brand-new feature. Rather, the recent film from the JuJutsu Kaisen supernatural series is a compilation of the anime's second season stitched together with the first two episodes of its third season, which begins the Culling Games narrative from the original manga. This makes Execution, which recently received a new trailer, the earliest way to see the commencement of the upcoming season ahead of its January 2026 premiere. The feature launches in cinemas in Japan starting November 7, and in North America on Dec. 5.

The Culling Games Plot

In the Culling Game arc, Special Grade sorcerer Yuta Okkotsu finally joins the television series and is assigned by sorcery authorities to eliminate his classmate Yuji Itadori. Their highly anticipated battle occurs for the first time on the silver screen, and if the animators at the production house have a treat as the two-part Thunderclap episodes in store for viewers this festive season, JuJutsu Kaisen: Execution may turn out to be the gift that fans have anticipated.

The Thunderclap Issue

"Thunderclap episodes" from season 2 is widely regarded as one of the greatest sequences in the history of anime, notwithstanding the major issues in the previous year when the series first premiered. It was claimed that the animation team were suffering from tight schedules to the point, and the final version that was shown at the time was not fully polished and supposedly not what the artists first envisioned.

It's captured the interest of viewers all over the globe, and the Culling Games is one of the most anticipated anime arcs of next year. If the production company wants to kick off the year perfectly, run back the series' best moment once again in theaters with the finest version we've experienced so far.
